Bar / Bat Mitzvah Contract

Congregation Beth Meier will schedule a Bar or Bat Mitzvah for your child on a Saturday morning or on another appropriate date. Interested families must consult with our rabbi before choosing a date. Please note, our sanctuary seats no more than 125 people and that on Saturday mornings an average of 25 members attend services, leaving room for 100 guests.

Bar/t Mitzvah Fee (includes tutoring, and reserves your date including wine, grape juice, challah, & beverages ONLY following the service): $500 Set up and Cleaning Fee: $250 Pay full balance now: $750 total
Deposit: Half of the Bar/t Mitzvah Fee is due when you reserve the date. The balance is due ONE month prior to the event. Your deposit it not refundable. If for some reason you cancel, the synagogue retains your deposit for having held the date for you.

Food Service: Congregation Beth Meier will work with you to arrange appropriate food service for your event. All food is kosher and approved by our rabbi. You agree to serve food taking into account the approximately 25 members who regularly attend services.
